As a reminder, the season 7 of Homeland ended on a situation, to say the least worrying. Even if the order had been restored to the presidency of the United States , Carrie had had to pay the price to accomplish its mission. Locked up for months in a Russian prison, it was eventually released in a state close to madness, deprived of her necessary medications during her captivity. In spite of his condition, it would seem that Saul is once again in need of it in this last chapter, which takes place in part in Afghanistan.
